Rotation and cleanup occur on writes that require them. Cleanup is best effort: permissions or concurrent errors can leave extra files. The limit is not an exact duration without traffic and does not delete historical files, database data or other services’ logs.
Archiving a guest record keeps it in the history; it does not delete the data.
